From January to July 2022, Randu Consulting support The German Agency for International Cooperation (GiZ) and Indonesia's Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) by conducting a policy analysis and producing policy brief focusing on the implementation of Law No. 11/2020 on Job Creation (widely reffered as Omnibus Law) and the amendment of Law No. 21/2001 on Papua Special Autonomy. The brief focus on the impact of these two regulations on corruption prevention, specifically in forestry sector in Papua and West Papua provinces. Randu Consulting experts conduct regulatory reviews, in-depth interviews and FGDs with relevant stakeholders in Jakarta, as well as in Papua and West Papua. Our brief was well received by the clients (GiZ) and other stakeholders (KPK), and will be used by both in developing their future engagement and projects on the particular issue.
